Three cases of closed rupture of the flexor carpi radialis tendon [m associated with scapho-trapezio-trapezoidal arthritis are reported. Carpal tunnel surgery preceded all three ruptures. Local [1msteroid [m injection preceded two ruptures. Long-term disability was minimal.
