- Discussion:
    - contains either 200mg or 400mg = diphosphonic acid:
    - it can inhibit bone resorption and formation        
    - Paget's Disease:                                    
          - measure Alk Phos and bone scans to judge efficacy;
          - dose: 5-10   mg/kg/day PO - not to exceed 6 months 11-20 mg/kg/day PO - not to exceed 3 months;
          - may restart treatment after 90 days, if there is efficacy;
    - Heterotopic ossification:
          - THR: - 20 mg/kg/day PO for 1 month before and 3 months after surgery
          - Spine Trauma - 20 mg/kg/day for 2 weeks, then 10 mg/kg/day for 10 wks;
